Private Yacht Tour on the Bosphorus

Private Yacht Tour on the Bosphorus

There is Istanbul seen from a rooftop terrace—and then there is Istanbul felt from the bow of your own motor yacht, sea spray on the rails and minarets sliding past at eye level. This private yacht tour Bosphorus Istanbul is Colina Rojo Travel’s answer to crowded dinner boats and rigid timetables: a private Bosphorus charter where the captain works for you alone, crossing effortlessly between Europe and Asia on a route shaped around your occasion. Message us on WhatsApp with your date, group size and dream scenario—we reply with available yachts, hours and a clear quote.

Your charter, your occasion

Our fleet is suited to far more than sightseeing. Guests charter for marriage proposals at sunset (roses, balloons and photographer coordination on request), milestone birthdays, intimate anniversary dinners, discreet corporate hospitality, or simply a swimming afternoon when the water is warm. Because the yacht is yours exclusively, children can move freely, playlists replace loudspeaker commentary, and you can linger ten extra minutes at the Maiden’s Tower without apologising to strangers.

Classic Bosphorus route

Embarkation is arranged at a central marina on the European shore—typically Kabataş or Ortaköy—where your crew welcomes you aboard. The classic northbound run passes the baroque silhouette of Ortaköy Mosque and sails beneath the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, its towers framing photos you will actually want to print. Mid-strait, Kız Kulesi (Maiden’s Tower) glows at dusk like a jewel on the water; by day it is pure Ottoman romance. Continuing toward the second bridge—Fatih Sultan Mehmet—you trace waterfront mansions in Bebek and Arnavutköy that once housed ambassadors and pashas. On longer charters we can include a swimming stop in a sheltered cove toward the Princes’ Islands when conditions allow, then cruise back with the city skyline opening behind you.

Sunrise, sunset & seasonal magic

Photographers swear by sunrise departures when the strait is mirror-calm and fishing boats are the only company. Sunset charters are the most requested: bridges ignite, the call to prayer drifts across the water, and your deck becomes the best table in town. Winter brings crisp light and dramatic clouds—plus heated saloons on selected yachts. Tell us your priority and we match vessel size, open deck space and indoor comfort.

Why book with Colina Rojo?

Istanbul has no shortage of boats; the difference is accountability. We work with licensed captains, insured vessels and realistic itineraries—no bait-and-switch “party boats” sold as private yachts. Pricing depends on yacht length, season, duration and add-ons (catering, décor, transfers), so we quote personally rather than publishing a misleading online tariff. You deal with one coordinator from first WhatsApp message to disembarkation.

Practical tips

Bring sunglasses, a light wind layer (even summer evenings breeze on deck), and non-slip shoes. For swimming stops, pack towels and swimwear under clothing. Proposals: brief us discreetly in advance so crew timing feels natural. Corporate groups: share your branding needs early for table setup. Peak weekends book weeks ahead from April to October—send your preferred date early.
