Bosphorus cruise choices are a 14:40 public short boat, a long run to Anadolu Kavagi, or our 120-minute finale. Dinner is a different night.
Bosphorus cruise is four boats, not one ticket. The public short tour leaves Eminönü at 14:40 and costs 340 lira for a foreign adult. The public long tour pauses at Anadolu Kavağı until 15:00 and is back near 16:40, at 640 lira return for a foreign adult. Our own boat is 120 minutes, on a deluxe finale or as a 15 euro tick on the planner. A dinner cruise is a night meal. The airport car is separate: 45 euros per vehicle from Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet.

Bosphorus cruise is four different boats, and only one of them is the ride we put on a private day. The public short tour leaves Eminönü at 14:40 and is listed at 340 lira for a foreign adult. The public long tour runs up to Anadolu Kavağı, pauses until 15:00, and is back near 16:40, listed at 640 lira return for a foreign adult. Our own boat is 120 minutes, a group boat, and it sits on a deluxe finale or as a tick on the planner. A dinner cruise is a night meal, not any of those three. Colina Rojo Travel, TÜRSAB 16602.
The clocks and the foreign fares are on Şehir Hatları: the short Bosphorus tour timetable and the Bosphorus tour tariff. If a later PDF replaces them, the pier wins.
Bosphorus cruise means you pick one boat
People buy the wrong ticket because every seller uses the same two words. A city ferry to Kadıköy is a commute. The 14:40 boat is a short sightseeing loop. The long boat is a day with a lunch pause. Our 120 minutes is a finale after the Old City, not a second full day. The four product clocks, and which of our vouchers actually holds water, are already written on the partner page Bosphorus cruise. This page is the pier choice. That page is the voucher.
Children under 6 ride the public long and short tours free on the current tariff. The child row for older kids is on the same price page. Read it before you assume a half fare.
The 14:40 public short tour
Şehir Hatları lists the short tour every day: Eminönü 14:40, Üsküdar 14:55, Ortaköy 15:10. The note on the timetable says there is no break at Ortaköy pier. You do not step off for the mosque and rejoin. A local adult ticket is 170 lira. A foreign adult ticket is 340 lira.
That boat is a Bosphorus cruise only in the short sense. It reaches Ortaköy. It does not reach Anadolu Kavağı, and it is not our 120-minute finale. Be at Eminönü before 14:40 with the ticket already bought. A landing at 14:00 does not make this boat. The afternoon is the airport car and the hotel.
If the point is the village, the kumpir, and the mosque square, that is a walk, written on Ortaköy. The public short tour shows you the pier from the rail. The page is how you spend an hour on land.

The long run to Anadolu Kavağı
The full Bosphorus tour is the six-hour public day. The summer tariff we read puts the northbound calls at 10:35 from the Eminönü side of the schedule, then Beşiktaş, Üsküdar, Kanlıca, Sarıyer, Rumeli Kavağı, and Anadolu Kavağı. The boat pauses at Anadolu Kavağı until 15:00. The return calls run back down the strait and reach Eminönü around 16:40. Confirm the day’s column on the timetable before you treat 10:35 as a promise.
A foreign adult return is 640 lira. The local return is 320 lira. That pause until 15:00 is the lunch window at the fishing village. We do not sell a set menu on that public boat, and we do not print a restaurant price here.
This is the Bosphorus cruise that spends the whole middle of the day. It does not sit on top of a museum morning and a 16:00 flight. A 16:00 Istanbul Airport departure wants the hotel car at midday. The long boat and that flight are the same hours.
Our 120-minute finale
The boat we actually put on a private day is about 120 minutes. It is a group sightseeing boat, not a yacht. Morning does not hold it. A standard full day ends at the bazaar around 17:00 and does not hold it either. Deluxe holds one finale after the ridge: this short boat, or a Balat walk, not both. If you already have the ridge day and still want water tomorrow, the same 120 minutes is a tick on the planner, priced there as a 15 euro add-on per person. Confirm one brand. Two carts for the same boat is how the pier gets missed.
You stay aboard. The shoreline in that window is the palaces, Ortaköy, and the bridges. Rumeli Fortress is a stone walk with its own gate, on Rumeli Fortress. Seeing the walls from the rail is not the same visit as buying the fortress ticket. Dolmabahçe is the white palace on the European shore. Its own box office, and the hours, are on Dolmabahçe Palace. The cruise does not include that ticket.

The city ferry is the other water
Eminönü to Kadıköy is the commute, paid with the city transport card, and it is the crossing we wrote in Kadıköy from Sultanahmet. That ride is not a Bosphorus cruise. It crosses the mouth of the Golden Horn and the lower strait. It does not run the 14:40 sightseeing loop and it does not pause at Anadolu Kavağı.
A dinner cruise leaves in the evening, carries a meal, and lasts a few hours under the bridges. It replaces neither the 14:40 public short tour nor the 120-minute daytime finale. Book it as a night, after the sightseeing day is already finished.
None of these boats collects you at the airport. Istanbul Airport to a Sultanahmet hotel is 48 km, 45 to 60 minutes, 45 euros for the vehicle, up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. Meet at Gate 9, point CEO 34. Sabiha Gökçen is 65 km, 75 to 95 minutes, 50 euros for the vehicle, pillar 10. Book Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet. The same arrival on the partner brand is Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet. The return is Sultanahmet to Istanbul Airport.
Which boat fits the day
Use one row. A Bosphorus cruise plan that ticks two rows for the same afternoon is the plan that misses the pier.
| Boat | Clock | Adult fare we can quote | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Public short tour | Eminönü 14:40, Üsküdar 14:55, Ortaköy 15:10, no break | 170 lira local, 340 lira foreign | A short look at the lower strait |
| Public long tour | North in the morning, pause at Anadolu Kavağı until 15:00, Eminönü again near 16:40 | 320 lira local return, 640 lira foreign return | The whole middle of the day, plus the lunch pause |
| Our 120 minutes | A finale, or a planner tick the next day | 15 euros per person on the planner | Water after the Old City, without giving up the morning |
| City ferry | The Kadıköy timetable | The transport-card fare | Crossing to the Asian shore |
| Dinner cruise | Evening, a few hours | The operator’s night menu | A meal under the bridges |
Four steps before you pay

First, name the boat. Bosphorus cruise on a voucher means our 120 minutes. The same words on a Şehir Hatları window mean the 14:40 short tour or the long run. They are not interchangeable.
Second, put the public long tour on a day with no flight and no second museum. The pause until 15:00 is the point of that ticket. A midday airport pickup deletes it.
Third, keep Ortaköy, Rumeli, and Dolmabahçe as their own visits when you want to get off. The rail is a view. The gate is a ticket.
Fourth, book the hotel car before the pier. The boat starts at Eminönü or on the finale we already scheduled. It does not start at baggage claim.
Common questions
Is the 14:40 boat the same as your 120-minute cruise?
No. The 14:40 departure is the public short tour, priced at 340 lira for a foreign adult, with no break at Ortaköy. Our boat is 120 minutes on a deluxe finale or a 15 euro planner tick.
Does the short tour stop at Rumeli Fortress?
No. The listed calls are Eminönü, Üsküdar, and Ortaköy. Rumeli is a separate walk and a separate ticket.
How long is the public long tour?
Most of the day. The boat pauses at Anadolu Kavağı until 15:00 and is back at Eminönü around 16:40. A foreign return is 640 lira on the current tariff.
Can I do the long tour and a 16:00 flight?
No. That flight wants the Sultanahmet car at midday. The long boat is still on the water.
Does a standard private day include the boat?
No. Standard finishes at the bazaar. Water is the deluxe finale, or the next day’s planner tick. The partner page lists the four clocks.
Does the city transport card pay the 340 lira tour?
No. That row is a Bosphorus tour ticket. The card is for the ordinary city ferry, including the Kadıköy crossing.
Pick the boat before you pick a restaurant on the water. Then lock the arrival, the return, and the planner so the 120 minutes has a day to sit in.
