Istanbul half day tour means one window
People land, see two half-day buttons, and add 125 to 165. That is the wrong sum. Each page is a finished morning or a finished afternoon for a party of two to six. The morning does not include Topkapı. The afternoon does not drive you back to the hotel. A flight day usually has room for one of them. A full sightseeing day is a different product, with a van and lunch.

The istanbul half day tour most arrival days can actually keep is the afternoon row, because an 08:00 meet needs you already in the Old City. A landing at 09:00 does not make that meet.
Meet on the square
The private morning is your party only, minimum two adults and maximum six. The guide is English-speaking. Another language is a note, not a new price. You meet in Sultanahmet. The pin arrives with the confirmation. Hotel pickup is not in the 125 euros, and there is no drop-off at the end.
The gallery ticket is in the price. The guide briefs you outside. Commentary inside the gallery is restricted, so the visit follows the published path: mosaics, the dome, security, and the queue in high season. Bring a passport or photo ID. The Blue Mosque is free when it is open to visitors. Shoes come off. Shoulders and knees stay covered, and women should bring a scarf. Prayer closes the tourist entrance. Friday midday is the longest pause. If the mosque is shut, the guide moves the stop to Küçük Ayasofya or Süleymaniye so the morning still finishes.
The Hippodrome stop is short and has no ticket: the obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the German Fountain. When the Grand Bazaar is open, the morning ends with a short orientation of the lanes, the exits, and how not to get pulled into a hard sell. Sunday the bazaar is closed. The walk continues at the Spice Bazaar, Arasta, or the Cankurtaran lanes. That swap is included. Meals are not. Topkapı and the cistern are not in this morning, so a Tuesday palace closure does not rewrite it.

The palace block
The afternoon is 13:00 to 17:00 from 165 euros per person, before VAT, same party size, same 24-hour free cancellation. You meet near Sultanahmet or the Topkapı gate. There is still no hotel van, and the day ends near the square or the bazaar, not at your hotel door.
The price includes the combined Topkapı ticket: palace, Harem, and Hagia Irene. Plan about 90 to 120 minutes. Courtyards, the treasury and kitchens as the hours allow, the Harem, then Hagia Irene, which is the quieter church inside the complex. Cobbles and slopes add up. Wear shoes you can walk in. After the palace, the same afternoon uses the gallery ticket that is already in the 165 euros. The guide usually keeps Topkapı first so Friday prayer does not collide with the gallery.
Tuesday the palace is closed. The afternoon replaces it with the Basilica Cistern, and Süleymaniye or Gülhane. The cistern ticket is included instead of Topkapı. You do not pay that swap on top. Sunday still closes the Grand Bazaar, and the short market walk uses the Spice Bazaar, Arasta, or Cankurtaran. Lunch is not included. Leave large suitcases at the hotel. Museum hours for the week you fly are on the Ministry of Culture museums portal.
Both windows
An istanbul half day tour is the wrong cart when the gallery and Topkapı are both required and the whole day is free. If you can keep 09:00 to 17:00, open the standard day. That page is from 230 euros per person before VAT. It adds hotel pickup in a Mercedes Vito, lunch, and the two interiors in one payment. Two adults are 460 euros before VAT. Children 0 to 5 are free. Buying the morning and the afternoon on the same date is two meets, no van, no lunch, and a tired group. It is not a clever discount. A list the vouchers do not hold, or a private morning in Spanish, is the planner. The guide fee is 150 euros once per booking. Stops, tickets, and lunch are extra lines. The screen asks for at least two stops and a language: English, Spanish, or Russian. The total shows before you pay.
The airport is not the meet
The half-day pin is in Sultanahmet. The airport car is a different booking. Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet is 48 km, 45 to 60 minutes, 45 euros for the vehicle, up to 6 passengers and 6 bags, Gate 9, point CEO 34. Sabiha Gökçen is 65 km, 75 to 95 minutes, 50 euros, pillar 10. Book Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet on its own, and the return on Sultanahmet to Istanbul Airport. A morning landing can still make the 13:00 palace meet after you drop the bags. It cannot make 08:00. Be at IST about three hours before an international departure, and at SAW four hours or more.
